The Paper Store
The Paper Store
The Story Behind the Name Yes, our name is The Paper Store. And no, we do not sell ‘traditional’ paper. Wrapping paper, note cards, exquisite stationery and a vast selection of Hallmark cards definitely… but no copy paper or card stock. The Paper Store is the largest family owned and operated chain of specialty gift stores in New England. Our goal is to be the premier destination for all of your gift-giving needs. Our business began in 1964 when Bob and Peggy Anderson purchased the first store in Maynard, Massachusetts. Originally a stationery store, The Paper Store has evolved into a sophisticated and diverse operation. In addition to social stationery and custom invitations, you can now shop for gifts, social expressions, fashion & jewelry, bath & body, home décor, baby fashion & gifts, educational toys & games, gourmet foods, bestselling books for all ages, and so much more! As you walk through the spacious aisles of The Paper Store, you’ll find new and unique offerings for everyone on your gift list (and at least one irresistible item for yourself). In 2013, we opened our online store to bring the same exciting selection and personal customer service into your home. Currently, seven family members – as well as a myriad of spouses, cousins and friends – all work together to analyze retail trends and bring you thousands of high-value items from the world’s finest brands. Our stores are staffed with well-trained Associates and Specialists who are happy to help customers find the perfect gift or answer questions. A group of very talented people work to make the atmosphere in our stores beautiful, organized and a pleasure to shop in. We are aiming high – to be your favorite place to shop. The Paper Store is happy to give back to the community and proudly supports The Jimmy Fund, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Reach Out and Read, and various local charities. A Business within a Business Philosophy As an essential part of having seven family members work together each day as a cohesive, focused team, each person manages a separate area of The Paper Store, applying their unique skills to lead their respective divisions and creating a “business within a business” concept. At The Paper Store, the “business within a business model” is a concept that applies not only to company leadership, but one that extends throughout all levels of company organization. In the buying department, this model is especially important in upholding The Paper Store’s legacy of high quality selection. Specialized buyers in each of the retail departments are highly knowledgeable in their respective areas and carry only the hottest trend items in order to streamline the customer experience. The result is the diverse selection of covetable gift items that can be found in our stores, which reinforces the “something for everyone” model we strive for in our mission. The “business within a business model” is also practiced within The Paper Store’s retail locations, as a way to manage the various in-store departments and empower employees. Each department’s size is determined by a sales-to-square footage ratio, in which departments with higher sales are given more floor space within each of the store locations. Employees are motivated to increase the sales of these various departments by providing exceptional customer service and thorough knowledge surrounding featured products and product lines. Through this “business within a business” philosophy, The Paper Store becomes a team of highly motivated individuals that is committed, at both corporate and store levels, to providing the highest quality selection and the best possible customer experience. As a result, experts at every level are working constantly to ensure that customers entering The Paper Store are always able to fulfill all of their gift-giving needs, as well as to find at least one irresistible item for themselves. Our Mission The Paper Store is committed to being the premier destination for all of our customers’ gift-giving needs. Our mission is to share our passion for The Paper Store with each customer, during each visit, by going above and beyond their expectations for both selection and service. By combining an ever-changing assortment of exciting merchandise, a visually inspiring environment, and exceptional customer service, we provide an un paralleled shopping experience.

Moonstones
Moonstones
Scott Plath along with his wife Kathy own Moonstones their second regionally successful restaurant venture, the first being Cobblestones of Lowell (http://www.cobblestonesoflowell.com/). In addition, Scott also looks to extol his passion for fine food, and hospitality, he writes a humorous “restaurant insider” weekly blog, (http://www.splath.com/index.php) and a regular column for Merrimack Valley Magazine (http://www.mvmag.net/) entitled “A view from the kitchen”. Early Years Beginning at age 13 as a dishwasher in NY, Scott fell quickly in love with the restaurant business. He worked his way from the kitchen to the front of the house, first as a busboy, then as server, and personal favorite, bartender. Education and Partnership His continued interest led him to UMass Amherst, where he majored in restaurant management and met his future wife Kathy. His senior final project, in both high school and college, was to create a restaurant concept and it was no coincidence that he ended up at UMASS with “The International”, a globally themed restaurant featuring the best cuisine from a variety of cultures. Heritage The inspiration then, as now, was preceded by years of exposure to a diverse and ethnically-rich culinary foundation while growing up in New York. In 1993, Scott decided he was all done working for others and committed to take the leap into ownership. His 1st restaurant, COBBLESTONES, (opened on June 6, 1994 and immediately began its rise to the top of the Merrimack Valley restaurant scene, where it has since solidified its status as a consistent, and respected culinary and community leader for nearly 18 years and counting. Entrepreneurial Expansion While COBBLESTONES maintained its reputation of excellence, Scott and Kathy never stopped looking for the right opportunity to open a second restaurant. Through continued “research and development” in Boston, NYC, Washington, Baltimore, Chicago, Miami, Paris, and Prague the concept of moonstones was born. Many hours of heated debate and sampling with a team of chefs at COBBLESTONES finally forged a collaborative menu, while Scott’s father-in-law supervised the demolition of the “Old” Ground Round in Chelmsford. Scott, Kathy, and daughters Aislyn, Tara, and Kelli are thrilled at moonstones success as they approach an 8th anniversary, providing the local community a progressive, quality and dynamic “urban dining experience” while contemplating the next venture! Idylwilde Farms
Idylwilde Farms
The Idylwilde Story Farming is a family tradition for the Napoli brothers: Thomas, Richard and David. Their grandparents, Frank and Mary Napoli, who emigrated from Italy in early 1898, raised vegetables, poultry and eggs on forty acres in Lexington. Their son, Thomas, helped as they delivered their produce and eggs door to door by pushcart. By 1930 the delivery cart had been replaced by a retail farm stand operated by Thomas and his wife Catherine. Thomas named the farm Idylwilde and for 36 years continued to bring his customers the fresh eggs, quality poultry, and fine vegetables they counted on. In 1969, the third generation of Massachusetts growers, Thomas, Richard, and David Napoli moved Idylwilde Farms to Acton in order to continue the tradition of quality and service that made the original stand famous. The small store on Central Street was replaced in 1985 by the present Dutch barn and greenhouse designed by the Napoli brothers. Local craftsmen built the Post and Beam structure with 100 tons of ash, pine, and Berkshire oak. In this splendid setting, customers continue to truly enjoy shopping year-round for their daily meals and special occasions in an old world atmosphere. Today, the business continues to be truly family operated. The Napoli brothers are grateful to all their customers, friends, and dedicated staff who have helped Idylwilde Farms grow and extend a warm invitation to all to visit. We support local farms! Bertucci's
Bertucci's
At the center of every Bertucci’s, lives our brick oven. For 35 years, since our first kitchen opened in the Davis Square neighborhood of Somerville, MA, in 1981, we’ve been perfecting the art of brick oven cooking. From the beginning, we built a tradition of creating unique pizzas and pasta combinations. These recipes all share some very important things in common: they use only the freshest ingredients, and we take the time to make each by hand. Today, 82 Bertucci’s restaurants are firing-up brick ovens from New England to Virginia, each reflecting the distinct character and local charm of their community. Like the original Bertucci’s, every kitchen is open, making our brick oven part of the restaurant experience. We believe that watching your food being prepared is an integral part to enjoying it. With a strong and dedicated commitment to hospitality, we welcome you as our guest and promise to always treat you as part of the Bertucci’s family. Nurture Whole Health and Reproductive Acupuncture
Elisabeth Horesh, LicAc Owner/Founder Libby Horesh - Acupuncturist in Concord MA, specializing in Fertility Treatments Elisabeth Horesh became interested in Chinese medicine after being diagnosed with polycystic ovarian syndrome, in her twenties. After deciding to try Chinese medicine rather than typical western treatments, her symptoms completely resolved. Elisabeth founded Nurture in 2014, with the goal of supporting patients in their pursuit of greater health and wellness. As one of only three fellows of the American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine (ABORM) in the state of Massachusetts, Elisabeth provides comprehensive treatment for a wide range of reproductive and fertility issues in both women and men. This specialization complements a broad range of health issues that she is able to treat. Elisabeth obtained her undergraduate degree in 2004 from Boston College in English and Environmental Geoscience. After working as an environmental scientist for several years, she returned to school and earned a Masters in Oriental Medicine, graduating from the New England School of Acupuncture. This degree included training in traditional Chinese Acupuncture as well as in Chinese herbal medicine. Following five years as a general practitioner of Chinese Medicine, Elisabeth became Board Certified in Oriental Reproductive Medicine. Elisabeth is passionate about helping women and men in their quest for better health and optimal fertility. Gibber Hill Grill
Gibber Hill Grill
A FARM TO FORK RESTAURANT Gibbet Hill Grill is at the forefront of the local food movement. We are one of the only restaurants in New England that has a produce farm on site, and Chef Tom Fosnot shapes his menu around what is seasonally available. In the summer, the majority of our produce is grown right on our farm. We grow over 40 varieties of heirloom tomatoes, squashes and zucchini, heirloom beets, radishes, greens, peppers, beans, potatoes, specialty onions, herbs, and many other crops, all of which can be seen on our menu throughout the year. We keep a root cellar and have winter greenhouses in order to expand our growing season. In addition, we also source from other local farms and food purveyors to feature the best of what the region has to offer. We bring the farm to your fork, literally. TOM FOSNOT, EXECUTIVE CHEF chef tom sm Tom Fosnot has loved cooking and the restaurant business since his first day at Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream in high school. After graduating from Washington and Lee University with a degree in Geology, Tom worked briefly for The National Park Service; however, his heart was always in the kitchen and he also looked better in white than olive green. Tom received formal training at the Culinary Institute of America. His culinary experience is vast, ranging from The Sconset Café on Nantucket to some of Boston’s finest restaurants including Clio, Rialto, Blue and Rocca Kitchen. In 2010, Tom left his executive chef position at Rocca Kitchen, to take the helm at Gibbet Hill Grill. Tom embraces Gibbet Hill Grill’s on-site produce farm and passionately plans seasonal menus to match the farm’s harvests. To accommodate abundant crops, Tom features weekly farm-to-fork specials during the growing season, further highlighting his talent and creativity. FireFly's BBQ
FireFly's BBQ
The Firefly’s BBQ Story Walk into Firefly’s in Marlborough, Massachusetts and, in addition to receiving a warm welcome, you’ll be greeted by the mouthwatering aromas of wood-smoked bar-b-que cooking and delectable downhome Southern fare. At Firefly’s, we smoke our meats for up to 12 hours, blending apple, cherry and hickory woods to create the signature red smoke ring that identifies the genuine low-fire, slow-cooking process of true bar-b-que. We offer four different styles of ribs and mop sauces from around the South including North and South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas. In addition to bar-b-cue, you’ll find many other Southern specialties on our menu, from Burnt Ends to Fried Chicken, Po’ Boys, Red Beans ‘n Rice, Sweet Potato Pecan Puddin’ and more! After Columbus landed in the Americas in 1492, Spanish explorers found the native peoples of the Caribbean Islands and all over the southeastern part of North America roasting meat over “barbacoa” grills consisting of a wooden framework resting on sticks above a fire. The flames and smoke rose and enveloped the meat, giving it a distinctive flavor. Explorers, buccaneers, settlers and slaves all adopted the technique and added spices and flavorings from their homes in Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia to create the deliciously diverse style of cooking that today we call “bar-b-que”... or “barbecue”... or simply “BBQ” — our authentic American cusine!Call Firefly’s BBQ Telephone: (508) 357-8883 Fax: (508) 357-8884 Firefly’s BBQ Hours Monday & Tuesday: 4:30pm- 9:00pm Wednesday & Thursday: 4:30pm-10pm / Bar ’til 11:00pm Friday: 4:30pm-11:00pm / Bar ’til 12:45am Saturday: 11:30am-11:00pm / Bar ’til 12:45am Sunday: 11:30am-9:00pm Come visit us!

Laurel Learning
Laurel Learning
I’m so excited about my new location in Bolton! We recently had our official ribbon-cutting and have expanding our services to include homework support in Mathematics as well as study skills and most other subjects areas. And I’m happy to introduce our one-hit-wonder Laugh & Learn activities and Book Sharings to instill curiosity and remind us all that learning can be fun! Elementary, middle, and high school students can find both the academic and study skills support they need and interesting explorations they want right here at Laurel Learning! If you don’t see a learning service you want, please inquire and I’ll do what I can to help you or at least refer you to another educational service professional that can. I’ve had a long, varied journey of rich experiences in Mathematics Education and been incredibly fortunate to have worked along side and learned from so many incredible educators and individuals through out my career of 20 plus years. For more information about me see my Linked In page. And as always, you can contact me with any questions you may have or to schedule a session. I enjoy the creative aspects of the writing process and gain great satisfaction from helping students achieve their goals and empowering teachers with tools and strategies to make this possible for their students. As a teacher and tutor, I’m always working to promote confidence and success in my students. As a writer, I do this with the creation of math educational products that innovate to help support student learning in multiple mediums and support teachers in collaborative, integrative settings. I’ve been tutoring for over 20 years at various capacities while working and raising my own children. I am a life-long educator and learner. Because I am a parent also I relate to the position we’re put in when our son or daughter is struggling academically or otherwise. You want to help them in any way you can and may have tried everything. I think I can help. Start by sending me a quick email and we can talk over the phone so I can learn about your child and their needs from your experience—after all you know them better than anyone! We’ll set up a first tutoring session and take it from there. You’ll be part of the process and your child will get the academic support they need. Often after the first session, students want to come back. Your son or daughter gets tutoring in a particular subject area, such as Mathematics, and is also taught other study skills that apply to learning other subject areas. If students find they no longer need tutoring on a regular basis they’re always welcome to come in for Homework Help Hours here and there. Laurel Learning has expanded tutoring services to include English Language Arts (ELA), as well as, other subject areas such as Chemistry, Social Studies, and foreign language support. I tutor students in grades 3-12 in primarily the following courses: elementary and middle school grade-level mathematics, Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Trigonometry, Statistics, and Pre-Calculus. We are also fortunate to have a talented pool of professional educators on hand as needs arise. So if your child needs academic tutoring or support services in an area not listed, please inquire. We also teach study skills, test preparation, and have experience tutoring adults going back to school. Sessions run an hour in length. Because I want as many students to get the academic support they need, my rate has been the same for many years. Tutoring rates: $50/session with an educational professional $32.50/session with a peer tutor I always advocate that tutoring is 20% content and 80% relationship driven. I value each of my students and take a sincere interest not only in their success and progress, but also in their view of themselves and their place in the world going forward. “You’ll be happy to know (my son) has been accepted into his #1 college choice and other colleges. I wanted to thank you for your help working on his essays, it made a difference.” – parent of high school Senior “I can’t thank the 3 of you enough!! … (My son) checked his grades all weekend in anticipation of his grade… He was so excited to receive a 97 A+ last night. We also check his other grades, he has gone up 10 points … in English and Math!” – parent of Freshman student “…thank you again so much for all your help this semester and last semester! I not only enjoyed the class as a whole but I truly enjoyed you as a professor. Not having the best experience with math before taking your course I thought I was going to absolutely hate it and do awful once again. To my surprise I was completely wrong. I really enjoyed your approach to teaching us math concepts and I loved the many different in-class activities that we did. The lesson plans, group final exam, and the papers we wrote this semester truly made me get out of my comfort zone and experience new aspects of education.” -Nick, aspiring future educator Feel free to ask if you’d like to see more testimonials and hear more success stories. Kimball Farm in Westford Ma
Kimball Farm in Westford Ma
Kimball Farm in Westford, Ma Famous since 1939 for legendary ice cream, Kimball Farm has grown at a memorable rate. The farmhouse in Westford that is now the ice cream stand began as a dairy barn in 1908. At that time the Kimball family sold milk wholesale. In 1934 John (Jack) Allen Kimball and his wife Clara considered processing the milk and selling it house to house. This idea never came to be. As fate would have it, around this same time, two salesmen stopped by. One was selling his freezer cabinets, the other his ice cream mix. They suggested the Kimballs make ice cream. Jack and Clara took a leap of faith and in 1939 turned the woodshed on the end of the house into an ice cream parlor. Over the years, Kimball Farm ice cream became more popular and the family made a name for themselves. Jack eventually decided to eliminate the dairy aspect of the farm and in order to focus on ice cream. In 1975, Jack and Clara moved the ice cream operation into the barn where it remains today, becoming the first location of the famous Kimball Farm Ice Cream. Jack ran the business and his three children worked in the ice cream stand. The original flavors included maple walnut, frozen pudding and peppermint stick. In the beginning, a quart of ice cream sold for seventy cents, a cone for five cents and banana splits for twenty-five cents. In 1988, the business was passed down to Jack’s grandsons, Michael and Peter Kimball, who run the business today. Since taking charge, they have expanded the business, adding three more locations. In 1989 Kimball Farm added an ice cream stand in Carlisle, MA. Following this came a driving range, nine hole pitch & putt golf course, adventure style mini-golf & a 6000 sq. ft. bumper boat pond along with an outdoor luncheon grill & seafood shack, all at the original Westford, MA, location. In 1995, the family acquired a new site in Jaffrey, NH. The restaurant, ice cream stand and country store are popular with visitors from near and far. Kimball Farm in Jaffrey is on the site of Silver Ranch and receives deliveries of fresh ice cream several times a week. In 2010 the Olde Sawmill Arcade and Grand Slam Batting cages were added to the Westford location; at the same time, the family opened the latest Kimball Farm location in Lancaster, MA featuring the same great ice cream, Outdoor Grill & Seafood Shack and Country Store. The Farm continues to grow. In 2016 two new attractions were added at the Westford location. The Soaring Eagle Zip Line ride and the Spin Zone All locations open for the 2017 season! Dicks Sporting Goods
Dicks Sporting Goods
DICK'S Sporting Goods was founded in 1948 when an 18-year-old Dick Stack was working at an Army surplus store in Binghamton, New York. An avid fisherman, Dick was approached by the store owner to come up with a list of products needed to get into the fishing tackle business. After Dick presented his suggestions, the owner told him he was a dumb kid and had no idea what he was doing. Dick was upset and promptly quit. He went to his grandmother's house where he spent a lot of time as a kid and told her what had happened. Dick's grandmother asked how much it would cost to build the store himself. Dick said it would cost $300. His grandmother then went to the cookie jar where she kept her life savings and gave him $300 and told him "do it yourself." Dick used that money and his relentless work ethic to open a bait-and-tackle shop in Binghamton. By 1958, he expanded his product line to include much of what you'll find at DICK'S Sporting Goods today. Ed Stack, Dick's son, is the current CEO and Chairman of DICK'S Sporting Goods. He and his siblings bought the store from their father and are responsible for taking two stores and growing the chain to over 675 stores. Dick's family continues to offer the finest quality products at competitive prices, backed by the best service anywhere. Like you, we have a real passion for sports. DICK'S Sporting Goods, Inc. is a leading omnichannel sporting goods retailer offering an extensive assortment of authentic, high-quality sports equipment, apparel, footwear and accessories. Headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the Company also owns and operates Golf Galaxy, Field & Stream, True Runner and Chelsea Collective specialty stores.

Tomasso Trattoria Enoteca
Tomasso Trattoria Enoteca
Tomasso Trattoria was founded in 2004 by Tom and Mary Prince. Tom had been working in the high tech industry for nearly 20 years and decided to make a change from the “virtual” world of software and computers to the “sensual” world of food and hospitality. On family trips to Italy, Tom and Mary, longtime residents of Metrowest, became inspired to bring authentic Italian cuisine and culture back home to an area dominated by franchises, chains, and “red sauce” Italian-American restaurants. The idea was to introduce a high level of ambiance, service, wine and food to the Metrowest dining scene. From the start, we have made nearly everything from scratch from our bread to our pasta. This truly sets Tomasso Trattoria apart from 99% of all restaurants. Several years after Tomasso opened we started to increasingly focus on where our food was coming from and how it was raised. We take great pride in the fact that we support responsible producers that treat the land, the sea, the animals, and their workers with care. We have also had a consistent focus on wine as a major component of the Italian dining experience at Tomasso. Our 100% Italian wine program offers a wide range of price points and flavor profiles and we are always striving to educate our customers, both formally and informally, on the wines of Italy. Our goal, as it always has been, is to provide a welcoming atmosphere where everyone can feel comfortable side-by-side, whether it is a formal business dinner, a romantic night out, a meal with the kids, or just a pizza or burger and glass of wine at the bar. the crossings | 154 turnpike road | southborough, ma 01772 | 508.481.8484

Join us on June 5th at private golf course, Wedgewood Pines in Stow, for our annual fundraiser for Bolton Youth Baseball/Softball!

Last year we raised just over $3000 for our program.   We hope to surpass this amount this year with your help and the help of our sponsors.  The money we raise goes directly to upgrading our fields and equipment to ensure the boys and girls of Bolton continue to have a great experience with town sports.  We will have many exciting raffle items as well our 50/50 raffle.   Dinner will be provided and awards will be handed out for closest to the pin, longest drive and overall team winner.

Cost is $140 per golfer, $560 per foursome.

Wedgewood Pines Country Club is home to one of New England's premier private golf clubs. For the serious golfers, the Boston Business Journal ranked our championship tees one of the twenty toughest golf courses in Massachusetts. With lush, mature bentgrass tees and fairways, and state of the art G-2 Pentcross bentgrass greens, you will always find the course in tournament condition.
