The Commandery of St. Francis, Order of St. John, Knights Hospitaller, is pleased to work with the Wine Country Polo Club to organize and sponsor the Wounded Veterans Polo Benefit 2016.
Based in San Francisco, the Commandery of St. Francis, comprised largely of former officers of the Armed Services, provides financial support for carefully selected veterans' programs in the San Francisco Bay Area that benefit combat wounded from conflict in the Middle East and elsewhere in the world.
The Commandery of St. Francis operates exclusively as a non-profit, being funded entirely by the members, and is part of the Priory of the Pacific OSJ, which is a registered 501(c)(3) corporation (# 26-2543649). Donations from fund-raising are passed entirely to the supported programs.
