Welcome to the home of the Bay Area Military Classic presented by The Cooper Companies.

The mission of the Bay Area Military Classic is to provide support and resources for the Bay Area military community, both past and present. With mounting challenges facing military members, veterans and their families, our goal is to do our part to ensure that they are not facing these challenges alone.  Your support and participation will make a real, tangible difference in the lives of active duty, reserve, national guard personnel and veterans who live and work in the Bay Area.

This event is organized and operated by a 100% volunteer staff and all net proceeds go directly to groups listed above.

The Bay Area Military Classic will take place on June 24th, 2019 at The Course at Wente Vineyards.  The course, designed by golfing legend Greg Norman, is nestled among the historic Wente Vineyards in the scenic Livermore Valley, 50 minutes east of San Francisco.

Here is a closer look at our partners and the beneficiaries for 2019:

ADDITIONAL BENEFICIARIES

United Through Reading

United Through Reading – UTR is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) public benefit organization dedicated to uniting U.S. military families who face physical separation by facilitating the bonding experience of reading aloud together. The founder was a reading specialist and knew firsthand the importance of exposing children to literature from birth. Thus, a powerful concept emerged. Now, 28 years later, UTR still stands strong — and proven deployment after deployment. More than two million military mothers, fathers, and children have sustained bonds and fostered literacy by sharing stories across even the greatest distances.
